Shot with IMAX cameras, Sydney – A Story Of A City is directed by AcademyAward® nominee Bruce Beresford (Tender Mercies, Driving Miss Daisy) and Geoff Burton (The Sum of Us). The DVD is priced to sell at $19.99 SRP and the VHS for $14.99 SRP.

The DVD features several bonus features including interactive motion menus, cast and crew biographies and screen savers for the PC. Sydney – A Story Of A City also includes the following special featurettes: The Emu and the Sun – an award-winning animated Aboriginal dream time legend, The Greedy Frog – an Aboriginal dream time story, The Echoes of Time – a didgeridoo performance by Phil Jones and Breath and Sound with Phil Jones so viewers can learn about the truly unique Australian instrument, the didgeridoo. Sydney – A Story Of A City tells the tale of Sydney through Virginia (Lucy Bell – Oscar and Lucinda), a young English woman who comes to Sydney to discover the “tainted” past of her Australian ancestors. With the help of a young archeologist Marco (Paul Mercurio – Strictly Ballroom), Virginia learns the rich history of Sydney. With sweeping shots of the vast harbor and the crisp Blue Mountains to the excitement of Bandai Beach and the 360° shot of the world famous Opera House, Sydney – A Story Of A City allows the viewer to get an exclusive view highlighting all of Sydney.
