BRILLIANT DIGITAL TEAMS WITH SLINGSHOT ENTERTAINMENT TO DISTRIBUTE 20 TITLES ON DVD

Internet, CD-ROM, and Video Joined By DVD To Expand Brilliant's Revenue Base
Mar. 15, 1999 -- Brilliant™ Digital Entertainment, Inc. (http://www.bde3d.com), a leading interactive entertainment content and digital animation tools developer, and SlingShot Entertainment™, a special purpose DVD publisher and distributor, announced today that SlingShot has been granted exclusive worldwide rights to distribute twenty of Brilliant's Multipath™ Movies and Adventures in the DVD format. Under the agreement, SlingShot has made financial, production and marketing commitments in exchange for exclusive retail DVD distribution rights to the titles. The value of SlingShot's commitment is anticipated to exceed $1,000,000, including marketing and production commitments by SlingShot valued at approximately $400,000 and advances and guarantees with an expected value to Brilliant of $600,000. OEM and bundled sales of DVD products will be managed jointly. SlingShot will also use its DVD version of Brilliant's Digital Projector(TM) to drive traffic to Brilliant's web site.

Pursuant to the agreement SlingShot will convert and publish all available, and some yet to be released, Multipath Movie and Multipath Adventure titles, based on characters including Superman, Xena and Ace Ventura, on the DVD format. Initial products are expected to be available in retail in the second half of 1999.

SlingShot Entertainment is an affiliate of The Enterprise, a privately-held group of entertainment production companies that includes five facilities and over 150 employees and has been operating for 25 years. With this agreement and the support of Enterprise DVD, a leader in development for the new and prospering format, SlingShot will be continuing to push the creative and technical envelope of multimedia. SlingShot features an impeccable catalog of titles including films originally presented in IMAX® theaters, classic cinema, award-winning animation, interactive properties and music/theater performances.
